In some homes making the switch to electric from gas requires rewiring the circuit, however, with the GLINDPS induction cooktop it just plugs in and is ready to go. The low power consumption is achieved by sharing the power between the cooking zones. A cook can use one zone at a maximum of 9 power settings, 2 zones at a maximum of 7 power settings or when using all 3 zones a combination of 3,4,5 power settings.
